2014 has seen a further rise in the number of serviced office centres in the UK of 3.6% compared with 2013*. London which includes City/Docklands, West End and Southbank all experienced a double digit increase, with only Midtown bucking the trend with a 4.3% fall.

Nationwide, Glasgow achieved a stunning growth of 18.2%, with Aberdeen, Bristol and Northampton tieing on 16.7%. The total number of UK centres now number 2335 .

Workstation Rates up 11.4%

Significantly the workstation rate growth across the UK as a whole was 11.4%, with Bristol topping the charts with growth of 37.1%, up to £356 average per workstation. Interestingly the West End saw a rise in the average workstation rate to £717. Lowest average rate was in Liverpool at £148, and a shrinkage of 10.3%

The figures provide evidence of the increasing demand for serviced office solutions. Along with this increase has been the treble digit growth of Billi, year on year as more and more serviced offices require boiling and chilled taps for the teapoints on each floor.
