Clerkenwell Design Week 2019

Clerkenwell Design Week – 21st – 23rd May 2019

This year, we are once again going to be at the renowned Clerkenwell Design Week in London. This year is a very special year for CDW, as it marks their 10th anniversary of the event. To coincide with this event, the design week is celebrating by inviting each sponsor of the event to create an installation of a candle to mark the 10th birthday.

As a sponsor of Clerkenwell Design Week, we were invited to create a candle to mark the 10th year. Ours, along with the other 9 candles will be placed at key locations around Clerkenwell. According to CDW’s website, this will ” help to guide visitors across the exhibition route in a fun and playful way.”

1. Visit our stand

Clerkenwell is the UK’s leading independent design festival, situated in the heart of Clerkenwell – London’s creative hub. We will be joining the festival as a sponsor, and will also have a stand at ‘Elements’ in St John’s Square, EC1M 4DS.

Elements is an exhibition based in a street-market style pavilion bringing together a ‘leading selection of ironmongery, hardware, switch plates and architectural accessories’. This section of the festival is the ideal destination for designers looking for the perfect finish to compliment their design. So, if you’re a designer, please come and visit our stand to see how Billi could help provide the perfect finish for you.

We offer a wide variety of finishes, from matte to shiny, and a variety of colours too, including popular chrome, brushed chrome, matt black and matt white. Our stand will have 12 different taps available to view, in a handful of our designs with different dispensers and colours. The stand provides a great opportunity for our customers to see what’s on offer from Billi and view our fully working Quadra 460 demonstrating boiling + chilled functionality.

2. Take a photo with our candle

Our second feature at Clerkenwell Design Week will be the candle representing the 10th year of the design festival. It features 4 sides and will be situated on the street for visitors to look at. Come and see the candle in reality featuring 4 stories that we have put together about the Billi brand, our ethos and current design trends influencing our innovative design.

According to CDW’s website ‘Billi’s unique and engaging candle captures the essence of the brand, with each of the four sides of the sculpture showing why architects, designers, contractors and many more choose Billi to fulfil their hydration needs.’

3. Enter our competition

To celebrate our inclusion and feature at the festival, we will be hosting an exclusive competition for all attendees. We are giving one lucky winner the chance to win one of our Billi boiling and chilled water systems. If you attend Clerkenwell Design Week, come and visit us at Elements to be in with the chance to win. The prize is a Quadra 460 in matte black for the office. 4. Pop to our Showroom

Just a short walk away from the festival site itself is our innovative showroom. Situated at 15 Dufferin St, London EC1Y 8PD, is the Billi showroom. If you’re in the area for Clerkenwell Design Week, please come and visit the showroom to see our full range of taps in practice. At the festival you will be able to view our combi taps, providing boiling and chilled water. However, at our showroom, the full range of Billi systems will be available to view, including the boiling, chilled and sparkling systems in our complete range of finishes, colours and designs.

Upon visiting, one of our Billi consultants can show you around our state of the art showroom. Take a break from being on your feet looking at designs at the design festival and treat yourself to refreshment on us. We will have tea, coffee and pastries available throughout the duration of the festival, so make sure you come down and see us. We’re only a 10-minute walk from the Clerkenwell design week location, so we hope to see you there.
